These headphones are pretty notorious for sounding completely awful out of the box. Oh wait, maybe I shouldn’t be saying that… 
Actually though, after a period of burn-in the sound gets pretty darn good and the midrange starts to show up a little more. Give ‘em a chance, they may surprise you!
